This quote by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe gives a good explanation why this site exist. However, please let me fist introduce myself. My name is Erik Falk. Next to my family, my biggest passion in life is wilderness adventures.
For me the wilderness is freedom, harmony, it's. . . life itself. In the wilderness I depend solely on myself. My own knowledge and strength. My own ability.
Most people in our modern society don't have the slightest idea about how to build a fire, find water, construct shelter and navigate in the wilderness. They lack knowledge and self-confidence to travel on there own in the wilderness.
My hope is that the Wilderness Survival Skills website will inspire people to learn the skill of safe wilderness travel. Nothing is more exciting than spending some quality time in the great wilderness.

Why spend time building a website
There's a lot of work that goes into building a website. However, when you're doing something that you love and have a passion for it doesn't seem like work at all. I have worked at my own pace, as time allows, and I have enjoyed what I have been doing! Could it be better?
I'm not done with the Wilderness Survival Skills website. I probably never will, because this is a living site that will change and grow constantly. I'm adding more and more content.
However, what is important is that the number of visitors is constantly increasing and that I get positive feedback from my readers. One of my objectives with my website is to attract a lot of visitors. What good would it be to build a website if nobody knew it exists?
Action guide
When I started a very soon found out that there was a lot of computer and internet stuff I didn’t want to care about. Search engine optimization and submission, html code, . . . . puh . . . . my enthusiasm started to fade. . . .. Lucky me I came across a website building tool that put me on the right track. My focus is building content not to spend unnecessary time in front of the computer. I want to spend my time outdoors . . . .
