Distilling urine for survival

I know many of you will turn your head at the thought of this, but I feel that if you are ever in dire need of help and are actually on the brink of DYING from lack of water, this tip may just pop back in your head and for one brief moment you recall it. I myself have never had the misfortune of needing water SO bad, but I have to admit I did try this and it actually does WORK.

You will need two plastic bottles with the same size mouth opening on them. You will need some type of tape IE: duct tape or electrical tape ( these should already be in your Survival Pack anyway).


O.k. so heres the tip.

You have to urinate into one of the bottles as much as you can, the more the better. Now with the other bottle you need to tape it to the top of the other bottle so both mouths are lined up together.

Now CAREFULLY lay them both into the hole you have dug. The bottle with the urine in it needs to be where sunlight can hit it as long as possible, the other bottle needs to have some dirt or sand layered over it to cover it completely.

Let the sun shine down on the bottle as long as you can, letting it sit over night is best. Once you have let it sit there SLOWLY raise the bottles from the dirt, one side will have urine in it the other should have a couple of ounces of WATER in it.

This is based off the SOLAR WATER COLLECTION TECHNIQUE. IT DOES WORK !!!!!! I know this sounds weird, but sometimes life throws us curves, and we have to adapt to them.
