Fire with a lens

I have a quick skill you can do when you are going to go in the woods. If in an urgent situation happen and you have a camera or video camera with you, smash it to get a lens to make a fire or signal someone.





Also you can us the tape from the tape in the video camera to tie something. A camera can be very helpful.

I have tried this: even with full summer sun and tinder and all the gear, you have got to be lucky to get a fire going: more than I was.

Seems to be the most expensive fire starting technique so far.....

Well in a real urgent survival situation I would use this technique.
