Chinese copies
by: Neruda

It is important to be aware of the difference in quality between the original Aitor jungle kings made in Spain, and Chinese imitations. I like Aitor knives - my survival knives include the Aitor oso blanco and oso negro - although I share misgivings about the hollow handle on the Junge Kings.
Judging by the price, the publicity accompanying this page is for a Chinese "jungle king". This is NOT a knife I would recommend.

Hollow handled knives?
by: Anonymous

I noticed you had one of those economy hollow handled knives? I won't use any of the cheap hollow handled survival knives cause they break way to easy when you start pounding on them. Thats because either they have a plastic handle or they are welded at the handle-blade junction which becomes a weak point for a survival knife! If you must have a hollow handled knife for your survival knife then save up the money and get one which will last and can take the abuse? I have one which won't break because it's an integral, machined out of one solid piece of A2 steel it's called a Mk VI and is made by Chris Reeves! He makes several different hollow handled integral survival type knives which are intended for just that purpose. If your interested in a knife which won't fall apart on you when you need it most then check out this website www.chrisreeve.com. The knives will cost you a bit more, but they are worth it especially if your life is depending on it in a survival situation!

Jungle Farce Knife
by: John

Dude your life is worth more than that cheap knife.
Keep the survival items and get a knife made out of quality steel that has a full tang. That hollow handle could break on you at the most inopportune
time. Not trying to offend you, just trying to point out the problem with a hollow handle knife and like I said your life is worth a lot more and a
real life survival situation you want all the advantages you can get not more problems.
