SOG Desert Dagger

by Michael Warren
(Phoenix Az. U.S.A.)

Well the good old fashioned Buck knife is not a bad stand by and very inexpensive. However I have an SOG Desert Dagger. It has a decent size 6" blade and a rubber handle.

It is very basic dagger design blade with two kinds of serration. The balance is really nice. Also the handle can be used for a hammer, although it is a little light.

The only drawback is the stainless steel blade. The only reason for that is it is a little tough to get a good blade on. Of course that should be resolved before you " Don't leave home without it". That and they have discontinued it but there are a still a few floating around for sale.
