Sog Field Pup is one of the best all around survival knives on the market suited for outdoors. It is affordable, compact, user friendly, and tough. The cost of a knife should not be a factor if your life is depending on it, but not having one at all is a travesty.

Compact gives you the advantage of having the knife with you at all times.

The Field Pup is easy on the hand for long usage, small enough for little tasks and big enough for medium tasks.

Tough is relative to ones ideals, but the pup is almost 1/8" thick and holds a good edge.
