The Survival Handbook By Colin Towel

by Todd Owen
(Denver,Co)

Some time ago, I met a wonderful woman who shared a deep love for the real outdoors and getting really '' lost '' in the mountains of Colorado. I decided to get her up to date on some new and unique tips I had found over the years from various books and such.

I went to the Library, and I must have gone through over 30 books on the subject of SURVIVAL in the OUTDOORS. Many of the ones I found seemed to just be mostly of guys bragging about what they could do or were trained to do. I found them to be a little over whelming to say the least.

Then I found THE SURVIVAL HANDBOOK by COLIN TOWEL. This covers every aspect of STAYING ALIVE IN THE WILD, DESERT, WOODS, JUNGLE just about any place on earth. The images are very detailed, I will not continue to go into a lot more details, but I will say this my GF loves the book, she reads it often. I too bought another copy and keep it in mypack at all times.

Check it out I am sure you will enjoy it as I have.

Great Read

I bought this one this past week. I was really impressed with the layout. This is a very detailed book, yet it does not go into page after page of drawn out stories. The only thing I would like to have seen would have been a paper back version. Otherwise, GET THIS ONE !!!!!
