Baby light my fire

by Larry
(Palatka, Fl)

I like to find multiple uses for what I carry. One valuable resource is an old bicycle inner tube. I cut it cross ways into bands. In the Nam days they we called Ranger bands.

You will find dozens of uses for these things. One of them is tender.

They will burn even when wet and they burn longer than other materials. You can get them for free at any bike shop.

I would like to see articles from all of you on the many uses.

Sounds like a good idea, but I would not want to breath that or cook over it, for when the innertube burns it sends many chemicals into the air and your food and lungs.
