Multi-Functional Wrap

by PJ
(Vermont)

Press'n Seal Freezer wrap- Not only can you cut it to fit any size item or type of surface (metal, wood, paper, etc) for a vacuum tight seal. It also burns like a champ! It protects your individual kit contents and easily tears off in an emergency.

I first bought a roll of it to wrap my cotton balls soaked in vaseline. I found I could smush them down into a small disk and fit more into my film cansister that way. When it's time to use, I just fluff it up a bit and pull some cotton out of the center like a wick. No greasy finger, compact, light weight, water resistant, inexpensive, easy to find, and flammable!

Prepare for your wilderness adventure.

Technically the term flammable as used above is incorrect. Cotton balls saturated with Vaseline would correctly be classified as combustible.
